All LESD teachers who currently possess an Emergency Certification can participate in the Aspire program at no cost.
Must possess a bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree from an accredited institution.
Must possess a valid fingerprint card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Must possess a valid emergency teaching certificate or a valid alternative teaching certificate.
The LESD Aspire Program will be a two-year model with classes starting in July. Aspire teachers will attend two Saturdays throughout the year, and will include 5 release days from school with sub coverage in their classroom.
The LESD Aspire teacher certification program is FREE.
Aspire Students are responsible for paying the cost and completing the Arizona Proficiency Assessments for ADE.
We will help submit your certification to ADE.
