ASPIRE
The LESD Aspire program is an educator preparation program for individuals looking to become appropriately certified to teach in Arizona.
Requirements:
*Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (not in education) from an accredited institution.
*Must secure a teaching position in the Litchfield District.
*Must possess a valid fingerprint card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
*Must obtain a valid alternative teaching certificate (if you are accepted into the program, we will help with this).
The LESD Aspire Program will be a two-year model with classes starting in July. Aspire teachers will attend two Saturdays throughout the year, and will include 5 release days from school with sub coverage in their classroom.
The LESD Aspire teacher certification program is FREE.
Aspire Students are responsible for paying the cost and completing the Arizona Proficiency Assessments for ADE.
We will help submit your certification to ADE.
