Governing Board Meetings
Notice of Governing Board Meeting Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.01, notice is hereby given to members of the Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board and the general public that the Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board will convene a board meeting. All notices of board meetings will be posted. The designated posting locations for Litchfield Elementary School District shall be electronically on the district's website, and physically beside the entrance doors to the district offices located at 272 E. Sagebrush St., Litchfield Park, AZ. The district office location provides physical public access at all time.
At least 24 hours before a Board meeting, a public notice and agenda are physically posted at the Litchfield Elementary School District Office, 272 East Sagebrush Street, Litchfield Park. The agenda can be viewed in the BoardDocs system.
All Board meetings, except executive sessions, are open to the public. Under Arizona law, the Board may call an executive session to discuss personnel matters, the purchase or lease of real property, meet-and-confer discussions, and legal matters with attorneys, among other things.

Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-431.02, a courtesy notice is hereby given to the members of Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board members and to the general public that it is possible that a majority, if not all, of the Board Members, may attend the events listed below:

- LESD Ed Foundation Events
- District Athletic Events
- Graduation Ceremonies
- Avondale City Events
- Buckeye City Events
- Goodyear City Events
- Litchfield Park City Events
- School Events
There will be no discussions, decisions, or action taken by the Governing Board.
Under Arizona Law, email to and from public entities may be public records subject to release upon request. All written or electronic correspondence sent to Governing Board members or LESD staff is subject to public records requests and may be viewed by the public or media. Additionally, correspondence sent to Governing Board members may also be copied to the Governing Board secretary, the Superintendent, and the district attorney for review, possible response, or redaction before being made available to the public or media.
Request for Arguments For and Against the Proposed Increase in the 2022/2023 and Subsequent Fiscal Years Budgets to be Considered by the Voters of Litchfield Elementary School District No. 79 of Maricopa County, Arizona, at an election to be held on November 2, 2021
Submit an argument FOR/AGAINST a school district ballot measure (online form) Pro and con statements will be published in the order they are received. The deadline for pro/con statement submissions was Friday, August 6th @ 5:00PM.
