Avondale, AZ — The Litchfield Elementary School District (LESD79) is partnering with the Avondale Police Department to host a routine Active Assailant Training at Corte Sierra Elementary School on Monday, June 30, 2025.
The district emphasized that this is a standard law enforcement preparedness exercise and is not affiliated with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) or any immigration-related agencies. No students or staff will be present or participating during the training.
